'Generation' Intro

Shiroiouji (Shiro) has been a cursed prince ever since he was little. On the day that he was born, a fortune teller had told Shiro's parents (the King and Queen) that Shiro would bring destruction to their kingdom; his white silvery hair as well as his devilish blue eyes are signs of the curse that he bears.  He possesses the power of a black angel and that is why he is always seen with black wings.

The news of the cursed prince had been spread all over the kingdom, and thus Shiro was feared by all human kind even though he was still a child; all except from his mother the Queen who loved him no less, despite his curse and his destiny to bring destruction upon the kingdom.  However his father on the other hand, hates him and was disappointed as due to his foreordained destiny, he could not be the rightful heir to the throne.

When Shiro had gotten older he had gotten used to people avoiding, mocking and fearing him.  He still had his mother to confide within until the King demanded that she was to stay away from her son.  She had refused the order, but eventually was forced to obey her husband.  Shiro was shocked; he couldn't believe that his father had detested him so much – so much so that his own mother was taken away from him.  Hence he had held a grudge against his father for hurting him so much and for taking the one person who he could seek solace within.

When Shiro had turned 15 years old he could no longer cope.  He snapped, and planned to kill the king. Once at the palace he ran toward the king at a fast pace with his sword at hand, but suddenly the Queen had stepped between Shiro and the King.  In an unavoidable mistake, his sword had pierced through her; killing her.  In a fit of rage, seeing his deceased wife in front of him, the king ordered the guards to kill Shiro but their strength was no match to the cursed prince who had become adept at using his blade.  He defeated the guards with ease and then had finally killed his father.  His victory was short lived for he still dwelled within a depression over his mother's death.

After the death of his father, Shiro had declared himself as the new king of the Kingdom.  Many people were shocked and disagreed but whoever rebelled against him were tortured and killed as severely as possible.  His harsh actions had gained him the nickname 'The Evil Prince' or even 'The Cursed Prince' by his own people.  Even though he had killed the previous king, he still could not gain the title of 'King' due to a lack of a spouse.

Many years had passed, by this time Shiro was 20 years old.  He was a great ruler but people detested him because of his cruelty toward his own people.  He had loved to declare many blind wars to fulfil his love of general conflict and torture.
His people had reached breaking point and planned to kill their own king, it started in the castle where Shiro was resting on his favourite chair in his private room, when guards snuck behind him silently and tried to stab him from behind.  Luckily, Shiro had skilfully avoided the guard's first strike; he was surprised but remained his calm composure.  He was forced to fight his own guards that chose to revolt against him. The guards had finally managed to lure Shiro from the castle, surrounding him with the people of the kingdom as well as his own guards.  Though he was trapped, the word fear was not in his dictionary; he fought all of them alone.

By dawn, he had killed the last man in his kingdom.  He had won, but as the man fell, he himself had fallen; fulfilling his destiny of bringing destruction to the kingdom. His injuries were severe and he had no more energy left. He had taken his last breath before he perished.  However, with the curse that he had possessed, he was unable to die and so revived in a soul form – remaining in a coma for many years.

1000 years later, a new kingdom was built on the same spot that was previously Shiro's kingdom, this belonged to Kurohime. Even her castle was built upon Shiro's old castle.  When she was born, Shiro's dormant soul rested within her body.

When Kurohime had turned 15 years old, her parents (the new King and Queen) had passed away due to unknown diseases that had been spread amongst the kingdom.  Kurohime had no choice but to rule the kingdom with no experience or knowledge about how it was run.  The princess was still young and many things were too difficult for her. Though she had tried with all of her heart, it seemed that everything she would do would go wrong.  Finally, she became depressed and made the decision to commit suicide.  

As she had jumped from her room window she was overwhelmed with regret and began to think about the unfortunate people in her kingdom.  She sobbed heavily and pleaded not to die, after 1000 years sleeping in coma, this was when Shiro's soul had awaked.  Kurohime had felt a painful sensation in her chest, as she tried to endure it her chest began to glow. Before her a large man appeared with a pair of black wings. He had greeted her by giving her sharp glares as he had saved her from her decent; returning her to her room.

It was complicated to explain what they were doing in the room; the atmosphere was generally icy and Shiro acted really cold toward her the first time that they had met. Eventually they had come to the agreement that Shiro, who had previous experience as a king, to take over Kurohime's kingdom on behalf of her as well as to mentor her in the ways of ruling a kingdom. He declared that he would claim the kingdom as his own even if it had meant that he would use force to conquer Kurohime's kingdom.

He had ruled the kingdom wisely, but with an iron fist as with his previous kingdom. Though he had find himself falling for the naive princess for her kindness and innocence and decided to comply with whatever she so pleased, even with his royal status, with the naive princess Kurohime ruling alongside him. That being said, once he had met Kurohime he could never return to the same person he was before.
